Amidst all the buzz around diversity and inclusion, how do you ensure as an HR professional that your organization is incorporating D+I into its recruitment processes in an effective and meaningful way?
Drawing on their experience in working with many organizations to incorporate D+I in a search process from start to finish, Elaine Grotefeld and Callum Wallace from executive search firm Odgers Berndtson will share Six Key Steps to ensure your organization goes beyond lip service in this critical area of hiring and selecting talent. This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to assess your current approach against the Six Key Steps, to identify challenges and potential solutions, and will give you a six-point plan to take with you for immediate use.
During this D+I focused session, we will also have the opportunity to learn about the BCJobConnect program offered by the Immigrant Employment Council of BC. Sangeeta Subramanian, Senior Manager, Workplace Development at Immigrant Employment Council of BC will share an overview of this tool that supports the hiring of job-ready newcomers.
