Queer in Tech DE&I Special Event

We are thrilled to be hosting another DE&I Special Event! This webinar is focused on creating an inclusive workplace for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and will be led by Eunice Kajoba and Sara Martin.

Topics will include the difference between gender and orientation, allyship, understanding intersectionality, and more. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to learn from experts in the space, but also those with real lived experiences.

Eunice Kajoba is an experienced human resources practitioner with industry knowledge from working in the tech, consulting, health care and non-profit sectors. As a Black and queer identifying woman, her core passions involve driving initiatives that enhance diversity & inclusion in the workforce through the lens of intersectionality. Eunice has experience co-leading and supporting Black Employee Resource Groups, 2SLGBTQAI+ Employee Resource Groups as well as DEI initiatives at both the local and national levels.

Sara Martin is a settler on stolen ancestral and traditional territories of  the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. As a queer woman, Sara has a special interest in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and she is especially passionate about queer safety in and out of the workplace. Sara's job as Facilities Manager for a Film/Animation Studio allows her to focus on this passion - to help our workplaces become safer, for queer people and for all people. She also recently launched her own consulting practice. Conversations Work, focusing on helping organizations create more inclusive workplaces.
